Located in the midst of four national parks and numerous state parks – the scenery is more than anyone can take in within a few days. Our unit is centrally located between the Parks, all four are within a short drive.

St. George City is busting with unique history and beautiful development. It is well known for first class dining and shopping. The local area also naturally provides outdoor entertainment of hiking, beautiful desert walks, and bicycle rides ALL close to our home. The City offers parks designed for children to enjoy, hiking the red cliffs, outdoor theater (Taucahn), indoor theater, live performances at the Tabernacle and Dixie State College. The area also boasts highly acclaimed golf courses.

St George

St. George is the capital of southern Utah’s scenic paradise. As the largest city in southern Utah, it is one of the most popular resort and retirement communities in the Southwest United States. It has a rich pioneer history as well as a far-reaching reputation for hospitality.

It’s excellent golf courses, widely respected community college, commuter airline, symphony orchestra, comfortable climate, and many other factors have made it one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Add to that the more than 50 fine restaurants and eateries, as well as some of the most exciting shopping opportunities in the Southwest, and St. George emerges as an excellent place to headquarter an unforgettable vacation.

Zion’s National Park

Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike.

Sand Hollow State Park

With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah’s newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat and fish on Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in a campground or the beach.

Golf

St. George is Utah’s golf capital. Weather is mild during winter and so golf is enjoyable year-round. Some of the best courses in the southwestern US can be found here. The St. George courses are all unique, set against red canyon walls and black lava rock. Many have outstanding views of red rock desert country.
